Level 1 Coaching Course - 21st to 25th Oct 2019

The PRAKL is organising the Level 1 Coaching course for coaches on 21-25 October, 2019 at the International Youth Centre (IYC). The course has received over-whelming response from all states in Malaysia with close to 60 participants.

The 5 day course is being conducted by Head Coach Mr Chris Martin, and the practical sessions are being assisted by KL senior swim coach En. Shazali Salleh at Kompleks Renang Kuala Lumpur.

The coaches are all very attentive and engaging in their respective sub-groups with swimmers. They have definitely learned valuable knowledge and tips from Mr Martin and Mr Teo, who briefed on the FINA technical rules.

Results of 4th ASUM Mid & Long Distance Swimming Championships 2019

ASG: Hoe Yean, Alma atlet terbaik kebangsaan

Perenang kebangsaan, Khiew Hoe Yean dan Alma Dahl, dipilih sebagai atlet terbaik lelaki dan perempuan negara dalam Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah ASEAN (ASG) 2019 selepas gabungan mereka menyumbangkan sembilan pingat emas, separuh daripada jumlah keseluruhan pingat yang diraih Malaysia dalam temasya edisi ke-11 itu.

Hoe Yean mencuri tumpuan apabila muncul atlet Malaysia paling berjaya dengan tujuh emas dan satu perak walaupun aksi di Semarang, Indonesia merupakan penampilan pertamanya dalam temasya itu.

Situasi itu membuktikan bahawa perenang berusia 17 tahun itu kini di landasan tepat untuk mencipta kejutan di pentas Kejohanan Remaja Dunia di Hungary, bulan depan.

"Ini di luar jangkaan saya. Tujuh emas memang terlalu tinggi. Sasaran saya hanya tiga emas. Saya harap ia dapat diteruskan, malah lebih baik lagi," katanya.

Sementara itu, Alma, 14 tahun, pula mencuri tumpuan kerana menyumbang dua emas dan tiga gangsa walaupun tidak memiliki pasport Malaysia.

Perenang kelahiran Denmark itu dibenarkan mewakili Malaysia atas faktor peraturan ASG, di mana syarat utama ialah seseorang atlet itu perlu bersekolah di negara terbabit.

"Saya gembira dan bangga mewakili Malaysia. Saya suka untuk melakukannya lagi di masa akan datang. Saya bukan pemegang pasport Malaysia, jadi semestinya ia akan mengekang hasrat saya," ujarnya.

The Kuala Lumpur Amateur Swimming Association (PRAKL) is pleased to extend invitation to all eligible swimmers who have qualified to participate in the Grand Final of the SPORTEXCEL / MILO / NSC /ASUM JUNIOR SWIMMING CIRCUIT 2019.

3.            RULES AND ENTRY FORMS

4.            SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

Entries may be submitted manually by using the official entry form or electronically via the Hy-tek Team Manager software and to be emailed to chuatb88@gmail.com.  The event file is as attached.

  5.            DECLINE OF OFFER

               Any decline on the offer to swim must be communicated by the club to PRAKL, the organizer            immediately or latest by 17^th July 2019, so that the vacancies can be offered to the next qualifier(s).

  

6.            ENTRY FEES                                     

RM5.00 per event

             

              Total entries fee is payable to PRAKL as per final checklist.  Upon checklist confirmation by participating  affiliates, there will be no revision to the entry fees in the event of subsequent withdrawals/scratching.

         Entry Fees MUST be paid before competition commences otherwise the organizer reserves the right to  disallow participation.

                All entry fees must be paid prior to the competition. modes of payment may be cheque, cash or online  GIRO into PRAKL’s account:-

Results of PRAKL Talent Carnival 2019, Circuit 1 on 29-30 June 2019

Thank you for your participation in Circuit 1 of the PRAKL Talent Carnival on 29-30 June, 2019 at Kompleks Renang Kuala Lumpur.

Congratulations to the Champion Club, Ikan Bilis Swimming Club, who have collected 1838 points in the carnival with 40 gold, 37 silver and 35 bronze.
